Ford Jr., 80, of the 3600 block of Trant Ave., died March 20, 2001, in Norfolk. Mr. Ford retired as a supervisor from Flowers Bakery after 20 years of service. He was also a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Ford was born in Atlanta, Ga., and was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Norfolk. Survivors include his wife, Lorene B. Ford of Norfolk; and three daughters, Anita Jacobs of Virginia Beach, Mary Vick of Charleston, S.C., and Alice McKown of Fort Smith, Ark. He also has a sister, Ethel Uppdegrove of Texas; a brother, Albert H. Ford of Maryland; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at noon Saturday in St. Peter's Episcopal Church by the Rev. John M. Eidam. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. H.D.
