FORT SMITH, Ark. - Lorene Bryant Ford, 88, died Feb. 7, 2009, of natural causes.
Mrs. Ford was born Dec. 9, 1920, in Norfolk. She was a homemaker and member of St. 
Peter's Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Ford 
and her daughter, Anita Jacobs.
Survivors include daughters, Alice McKown of Fort Smith and Mary Vick of 
Charleston, S.C.; a brother, Patrick McKown of Virginia; seven grandchildren and 
nine great-grandchildren.
The body was cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Lewis 
Funeral Chapel, Fort Smith, is in charge.
