                     C. L. Ford, 77, Jewelers Executive

Charles Lynwood Ford, 77, of 5415 Powhatan Ave., vice president of Frank R. Ford 
Co., jewelers in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, died in his home Friday at 10:20 
p.m.
He was the husband of the late Mrs. Grace MacKimmie Ford and a son of Jonathan 
F. and Mrs. Annie Hudgins Ford.
A native of Richmond, he had lived in Norfolk for 70 years.
He was a member of Ruth Masonic Lodge 89 and had been in the jewelry business 
over 50 years.
He is survived by a son, John R. Ford; two brothers, Frank R. Ford and Eugene C. 
Ford; all of Norfolk; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Monday at 2 p.m. 
by the Rev. Robert H. Ramey Jr. of Knox Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
