NORFOLK - Mrs. Gertrude Ford of 849 W. 34th St. died Tuesday in a hospital.
  A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of Frank and Mrs. Lucille Davis and
widow of Freddie Ford.  She was a member of New Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.
  She is survived by a son, Archie Davis of Norfolk;  a daughter, Miss Jean Ford
of Norfolk;  and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Adams of New York.
  A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in New Mt. Hermon Baptist
Church by the Rev. Powell.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Graves
Funeral Home in charge.
