O. Foreman, and one of the best known residents of Norfolk county, died at the family residence 97 D street, near Twenty-second street, South Norfolk, last evening at 10:30 o'clock after a lingering illness. Mrs. Foreman had been a life-long resident of the county, but moved to South Norfolk a few years ago, where she had become well known and beloved by a large circle of friends. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Foreman is survived by the following children: Alvah H. Foreman, superintendent of public schools of Norfolk county, Mrs Elizabeth Tatem Butt and Mrs. Grace Virginia Wiggs, and one brother, James Tatem, all of South Norfolk. The funeral will be held at noon Saturday at the residence. Interment in Riverside cemetery.
