Virginia Beach - Patricia Meech Forlano, age 91, a Norfolk native, died April 3, 
2017. She was a graduate of Old Dominion University, a vice president of Life 
Savings Bank, and a member of the Great Bridge Chapter of Daughters of the 
American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine E. 
Meech, father, Spencer M. Meech, brother, Spencer M. Meech Jr., sister, 
Katherine Travis Peters, and nephew, Travis Meech. She is survived by a sister, 
Ellen M. Scott of Shrewsbury, England, a daughter, Katherine F. Wise and 
husband, Michael, grandsons, Wade M. Wise, Clayton R. Wise and wife Michelle, 
and great-grandchildren Spencer, Brayden, and Anna Wise. She is also survived by 
a niece, Lellie Beth Rhodes, and nephews, Terry, Mickey, and Preston Meech, and 
Peter Carter. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 7 at 11:00 am at 
Elmwood Cemetery Norfolk, Va. A special thanks to all the caregivers at Baylake 
Retirement and Assisted Living and Interim Hospice. In lieu of flowers, 
donations can be made to the Salvation Army or Ocean Park Rescue Squad. 
Arrangements are being handled by H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Rd. Chapel.
