Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch July 14, 1955
Charles S. S. Forney, 77, of 1208 Lawrence Street, South Norfolk, died yesterday 
morning in a Norfolk hospital after a long illness.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., he had resided here and in Newport News a number of 
years. Before his retirement, he managed the Profile Timber Corporation, in 
Pittsburgh, manufacturers of clothespins. He was a member of Duquesne Masonic 
Lodge No. 46, A.F. and A.M., Pittsburgh.
He has no known close survivors.
The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk. Funeral services 
will be conducted tomorrow at 11 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery.
