Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch February 16, 1946
Samuel H. (Captain Skinny) Forrest - Funeral services for Mr. Forrest, president 
of the Forrest and Dunn Marine Railway, who died Thursday, were conducted this 
afternoon at 2 o'clock in the funeral chapel of James V. Derry. The Rev. P. 
Rowland Wagner, pastor of the Central Baptist Church, officiated, assisted by Rev. 
Charles H. Gibboney of the Second Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
