A native of Norfolk, Mrs. Forsberg graduated from Maury High School in 1919 and attended Longwood College. She began teaching and also took graduate courses at the University of Virginia and the Norfolk Division of the College of William and Mary, now Old Dominion University. During most of her career, she taught first grade, but she also taught other elementary school levels at a number of Norfolk schools, including John Marshall Elementary and what is now James Madison Secondary School. She also taught at a private school for eight years. She was a member of King's Daughters Circle of Service and was past president of the Junior Woman's Club. She had been a member of Ghent United Methodist Church for 74 years. She was the widower of F. Morris Forsberg. Survivors include a son, Fredrik H. Forsberg of Norfolk; a brother, Arthur J. Hall Jr. of Virginia Beach; and three grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at noon Friday in Elmwood Cemetery by the Revs. Robert Watts and Hugh C. White III. H D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements. The family will be at 1417 Buckingham Ave. Memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
