Virginian-Pilot September 15, 1948
Leonard Arnold Forster, son of the late Robert A. and Annie Forster, died suddenly 
at his residence in Brooklyn, N.Y., Sunday morning.
He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Charles W. Anderson and Mrs. Edward A. 
Chandler, both of Norfolk, and Miss Alice Melvin Forster, of Brooklyn, and a 
niece, Mrs. W. Baxter Burgess, of Norfolk. He was a native of Norfolk and had been 
a resident of Brooklyn for 38 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home today at 3 
p.m. by the Rev. Taylor Willis, D.D., pastor of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal 
Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
