Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 11,1939
Funeral services for Miss Fannie Foster, well known Norfolk citizen, who 
succumbed January 22 at a local hospital, were held from St. John’s A. M. E. 
Church, January 26.  The Rev. J. A. Young officiated.  Miss Foster is survived by 
two sisters, several nieces and nephews.  Funeral arrangements were handled by B. 
F. King Funeral Home.
