Funeral services for Henry Alpheus Foster, 58, 1519 43rd street, who died at his 
home June 7, were held at St. Mark AME Church in Lambert’s Point, June 13.  The 
Rev. J. E.  Beckett officiated.  Born in Nottoway County, Mr. Foster had lived 
here 30 years.  Surviving are three sons, a daughter, two sisters, four brothers, 
and four grandchildren.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  Hale Funeral Home in 
charge of arrangements.
