Virginian-Pilot, June 24, 1899


Mr. Wm. H. Foster, aged 77 years, died yesterday at his home, 322 Boush 
Street. The deceased had long been a citizen of Norfolk and was well known. He 
is survived by a wife and five children, who live in Norfolk. 
He had been ill for a long while. The funeral will be occur this afternoon at 
6 o’clock from his late residence.
