Ealia Carroll Foster, 94, formerly of the 900 block of Weyanoke St., died March 
9, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Foster was a native of Norfolk and was the widow of Rex Mitchell Foster. 
She was a member of Zion Grace United Methodist Church in Norfolk and a charter 
member of the Sunshine Circle of Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
Survivors include two daughters, Jane F. Roane of Norfolk and Anne F. Serfas of 
Stroudsburg, Pa.; a son, Rex M. Foster Jr. of Norfolk; a sister, Christine C. 
Jones of Manassas, Va.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by 
the Rev. Charles W. Hubbard Jr. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is 
handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of 
The King's Daughters or the Zion Grace United Methodist Church Mission Fund.

Additional Comments:
She is buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk.
