Foster Dies; Railway Express Foreman Luther Noblett Foster, 34, of 533 West 37th Street, died in a local hospital at 7 a.m. today after a brief illness. Foster was a native of Spartanburg, S.C. and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 30 years. He was a foreman for the Railway Express Company. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Harriett Gregory Foster; a daughter, Miss Virginia Foster, of Norfolk; two brothers, E.R. Foster, of Norfolk and S.M. Foster, of Spartanburg, S.C., two sisters, Miss Corrie Foster, of Spartanburg and Mrs. J.F. Huffman, of St. Matthews, S.C. He was a member of Ruth Lodge, A.F. and A.M. and Epworth Methodist Church. The body was removed to the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments pending funeral arrangements. ****************************************************************************** FOSTER, LUTHER NOBLETT - At a local hospital, Saturday, February 11th, 1950, at 7 o'clock a.m., LUTHER NOBLETT, husband of Mrs. Harriett Gregory Foster, and son of the late A. J., and Mrs. Emma Smith Foster, in the 55th year of his age. Services at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, MONDAY AFTERNOON at 2:30 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
