Norfolk - Mrs. Stella Foster, 70, of 2532 Middle St., died in a Norfolk hospital
Sunday.

She was the widow of John R. Foster and a daughter of the late George and Mrs.
Lydia Cornick.  She was a native of Princess Anne County and had lived in
Norfolk for 50 years.

Mrs. Foster was a member of the First Church of Christ Holiness where she served
on the Pastor’s Aid and the Missionary Circle.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Hattie Capano;  two sisters, Mrs. Rosa
White and Mrs. Captalie Alex, all of Norfolk;  one brother, Augusta Cornick of
Baltimore, and one grandson, Matthew G. Bokins Jr. of Norfolk.

Funeral services will be conducted at the First Church Christ Holiness Thursday
at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. O. W. Mcginnis, pastor.  Burial will be in the Calvary
Cemetery.  The Graves Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
