SUFFOLK - Mary Jane Berry Foster, 90, of the 100 block of Pembroke Lane, slipped 
into eternal rest on Jan. 30, 2002, in Nansemond Point Healthcare Center. 

She was born in South Mills, N.C., to the late Thomas and Rebecca Cuffee Hunt. 
She was predeceased by husbands, Herbert Berry and Harry Foster and daughter, 
Joyce B. Wilson. 

Mrs. Foster joined Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at age 11 and worked 
faithfully in the church and Sunday School throughout her life.

She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Daisy Capehart, son-in-law, Clinton 
Capehart; granddaughters, Joyce L. Wilson and Georgianna Aiken; brother-in-law, 
Boston Berry; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 
South Mills, N.C. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk. Crocker 
Funeral Home is in charge.
