Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - October 9, 2009 
NORFOLK - Henry Alfred "Hawk" Foster Sr., 63, of the 2600 block of Omohundro
Ave., passed away Oct. 2, 2009, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was born
Jan. 8, 1946, to the late Corrine Walker and Clayton Foster in Norfolk. He was a
graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. He was predeceased by a son, Henry
A. Foster Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Edith M. Foster; one son, William M. Foster (A'Daye
B.); two brothers, Edward Bowman (Chestnut) and Clinton Bowman; two
grandchildren, Tresor S. Foster and Tresenian M. Foster; a host of other
relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Mark RZUA, 1512 Colonial Ave.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. Family and friends will assemble
at 2600 Omohundro Ave. one hour prior to the service for the procession to the
church. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby St. Chapel, is in charge.
