Walker Foust of the 7000 block of Auburn Ave. passed into eternal life on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was born Nov. 25, 1923, in Edward, N.C., the daughter of the late Mary E. Moore and Frank Moore. She was a seamstress at a swimsuit factory and a member of Bank Street Memorial Baptist Church of Norfolk. The widow of Charles Foust, she is survived by a son, Arthur Lee Tuten Jr. of Norfolk; four daughters, Mary Barksdale of Norfolk, Thelma Shelton and Marion V. Britt, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Evelyn Lee of Norfolk; a sister, Luvenia Tuten of Norfolk; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of friends. She was predeceased by six sisters and six brothers. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Bank St. Memorial Baptist Church by Dr. Kirkland Harris. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will receive friends at 5543 Berryhill Road, Norfolk, Poplar Halls section, 461-7296. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
