Virginian-Pilot May 12, 1956
Mrs. Eloise Hudgins Fowler, 78, widow of Louis Gibbs Fowler and daughter of the 
late Thomas J. and Mrs. Martha Stokes Hudgins, died at Selinsgrove, Pa., 
Thursday at 3:25 p.m. She was a native of Mathews County, and a former resident 
of Norfolk until February 1955, when she made her home in Selinsgrove. She was a 
member of Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church, and of the Daughters of the 
Confederacy.
Surviving her are one daughter, Mrs. Eloise Fowler Eberman, and two 
grandchildren, of Selinsgrove.
Services will be conducted at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 
3:30 p.m. by the Rev. Peyton R. Williams, rector of Christ and St. Luke's 
Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
