Death of an Old Citizen.
We are pained to announce today, the death of Mr. Thomas Henry Fowler, which 
occurred yesterday afternoon, at his residence, No. 19 Henry street. Mr. Fowler 
was in the 66th year of his age, and for some years past has been afflicted from 
the effects of paralysis. He was, previous to the war, connected with the press 
of North Carolina, and was an excellent writer. He was an honest, upright man, 
and though greatly reduced in circumstances during the late years of his life, 
and terribly afflicted, he never lost his cheerfulness of manner. He was a good 
husband and father and a good citizen in every sense of the word. Peace to his 
ashes.
