Mrs. Daphne Fowler died at the residence of her daughter, 828 Johnson avenue,
Thursday, February 25, at 1:30 a.m. Her funeral was held at Bank Street Baptist
Church, Sunday at 1:30 p.m., Rev. D. F. White officiating. Mrs. Fowler was a
member of Provident Lodge of Tents, St. Luke and the Household of Ruth. For many
years she had been a member of Bank Street Church. The deceased is survived by
one son, Robert H. Fowler, of Atlantic City, NJ, one daughter, and a son-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Williams; two grandchildren, Marie and Adelane Williams. Burial
was in Calvary Cemetery.
