Fox, 61, Dies at Home Funeral for Statistician of Norfolk Southern Will Be Held Tomorrow Edward V. Fox, 61. Statistician for the Norfolk Southern Railway, died at his residence, 1308 Rockbridge Avenue, Larchmont, yesterday morning at 3 o’clock after a long illness. A native of City Point, Mr. Fox had resided in Norfolk for the last 45 years, and was a son of the late Edward and Emma Virginia Phillips Fox. He was a member of the Men’s Bible Class of the Larchmont Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma Banks Fox; four sons, Edward V. Fox of Norfolk; Corp. John Paul Fox, of the Army; Louis L. Fox, of Norfolk, and Pvt. Richard K. Fox, of the Marine Corps; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Nellie Irene Smith and Mrs. William E. Hayman of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Belle Hubbard, and a nephew, Roger Hubbard of Detroit. Funeral services will be conducted in the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o’clock. The Rev. W.H.T. Squires will officiate. Interment in the family plot at Elmwood Cemetery.
