Princess Anne Road, died on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1998, in a Norfolk hospital. He retired in 1981 from Norfolk's Lake Taylor City Hospital as a general accounting supervisor after 12 years of service. He was born in Norfolk, the son of the late Ethel Santos Fox and Edward Valentine Fox Sr. Mr. Fox was a longtime member of Epworth United Methodist Church where he had served on the administrative board and as finance chairman of the church, and as a member of the Wesleymen Bible Class and their board of directors. He was a member of Norfolk Kiwanis Club Pioneers. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Duke Fox; a cousin, the Rev. Charles D. Hutchins of Savannah, Ga.; and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home by the Rev. Stephen H. Butler and the Rev. Charles Blaylock. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Epworth United Methodist Church. Cox Funeral Home is in charge.
