NORFOLK - Barbara Bowling Foxx , 86, passed March 8, 2010, at home.

She was the widow of Charles R. Foxx Sr. Survivors include son, Charles R. Foxx
Jr. (Julia) of Norfolk; sister, Annie B. Givens and niece, Annette Lillian
Givens of Midway, Ga.; nephew, Frederick P. Burley (Thelma) of Washington, D.C.;
aunt, Grace Penn Bowling of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and many other relatives and
friends,.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 14, at 2932 Myrtle Ave. from noon
to 6 p.m. The wake will be Monday, March 15, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Hale Funeral
Home, East Princess Anne Boulevard. The homegoing service will be at noon
Tuesday, March 16, at the Historic First Baptist Church, Bute Street with burial
at Calvary Cemetery. www.halefuneralhome.com.
