Mr. Fraim, who resided at 245 East 41st Street, was a partner in Fraim Florists, and the Fraim Manufacturing Company, with his brother, Joseph A. Fraim, and his sister, Miss Kathryn A. Fraim. After having taken two of his children to school, he was stricken while getting into his car in the 1300 block of Colonial Avenue. Witnesses who saw him topple to the ground immediately called police headquarters for assistance. Patrolmen E. M. Morgan and W. A. Dillard responded and took him to Norfolk General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival at 9:05 a.m. He apparently had been in good health. Native of Philadelphia A resident of Norfolk for the past 25 years, he was a native of Philadelphia, the son of the late Fred B. Fraim and Mrs. Anna Ryan Fraim. For a number of years, he had been connected with the florist and manufacturing businesses here. He was serving his second term as vice-president of the Virginia Moose Association at the time of his death. He also was a past governor of Norfolk Lodge No. 39, Loyal Order of Moose. He held the highest degree the Moose could bestow on one of its workers, the Pilgrim’s Degree. He was a past noble of the North Moose, Hampton Roads Legion No. 199. For two terms he had served as local governor, gaining a diamond award. He was continued in office as a trustee of the lodge. A class of candidates was to have been initiated in his honor next January, J. F. Fritzinger, secretary of the lodge, said yesterday. On account of his death, the class will be a tribute to his work with the Moose, the secretary announced. Mr. Fraim was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and of the Holy Name Society. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thelma Lunsford Fraim; three-week-old twins, Kathryn Marie and Paul David Fraim; three other sons, Edward J. Fraim, Jr., Richard Albert Fraim and Thomas Eugene Fraim; two sisters, Miss Kathryn Anna Fraim, and Mrs. Edna Fraim Ramhorn; three brothers, Joseph A. Fraim, of Norfolk, and Frank J. Fraim and Vincent A. Fraim, of Philadelphia. The body will be taken from the residence to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
