Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, November 16, 1996 
Earl Paige Fraley Sr., 76, of the 6300 block of Glenoak Drive, died Wednesday
Nov. 13, 1996, in DePaul Medical Center.

He was a native of Norfolk and the son of the late Thomas Lester and Mollie
Henderson Fraley. A letter carrier of the U.S. Postal Service, Mr. Fraley
retired after 37 years of service. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic
Church and was a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School Class of 1938. He was an
Army veteran of World War II, a member of the National Association of Letter
Carriers Branch 456, Knights of Columbus Council (NU)367, The What's Social and
Civic Club and the Retired Leisure Mens Club.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 54 years, Mary C. Fraley of the home; a
daughter, Dana M. Fraley of Norfolk; a son, Earl Paige Fraley Jr. of Virginia
Beach; a sister, Helen F. Daniels of New York; and grandchildren, Aarian G.
Fraley, Keith A. Fraley and Khalid A. Fraley. He is also survived by an aunt,
Lucy Hunt; an uncle, Henry Henderson; a niece and nephew, Theresa D. Muse and
Thomas A. Fraley; and several cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Christ the King Catholic Church by
Father Joseph Lehman. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from
1 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Riddick Funeral Service, where the family will receive
friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday.
