Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, October 17, 1990 
Lena Vandelia France, died Oct. 10, 1990, in a hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she had retired from the New York City schools after 30
years. She was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church.

Survivors include two nieces, Hermoine G. Smith of Norfolk and Frances G.
Saunders of Hampton; and a nephew.

The graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Calvary Cemetery ,
Norfolk, by the Rev. I.W. Knight. Elton Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
