WENATCHEE, Wash. - Mrs. Martha Bedner France, 70, a native of Wilkes Barre, Pa., 
and a former resident of Norfolk, died Friday.
She was the widow of Andrew France. In Norfolk, she was a former member of Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Miss Rosemary France and Mrs. Edward Stahly of 
Wenatchee; two sisters, Mrs. Emily Markford of Upper Darby, Pa., and Sister Marie 
Bedner of Springfield, Mass.; two brothers, Albert Bedner of Worcester, Mass., and 
Andrew Bedner of Florida; and two grandchildren.
The body is being sent to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments in Norfolk for a funeral 
service Wednesday at 2 p.m. in St. Mary’s Cemetery by the Rev. Fr. Raymond Barton.
