Virginian-Pilot October 21, 1968
NORFOLK - Mrs. Addie Cromwell Frankenberger, 88, of 105 S. Arden Circle died 
Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in a hospital.
She was the widow of Charles H. Frankenberger and a daughter of Joshua and Mrs. 
Mary Phelps Cromwell.
A native of Norfolk County, she lived in Tidewater all her life. She was a 
member of Denby Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John W. Corbell of Norfolk and Mrs. George 
Bowden of Greensboro, N.C.; a son, Allen C. Frankenberger of Norfolk; six 
grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, Tuesday 
at 2 p.m. to Elmwood Cemetery for a funeral service by the Rev. Robert A. Rose 
of Wesley Memorial Methodist Church.
