NORFOLK - Mrs. Christine Frankin of 2212 Courtney Ave., a native of Wendell, 
N.C., and the wife of James Franklin, died Friday in her home.

She was a domestic employe and a member of New St. Mark Baptist Church and its 
Senior Choir and secretary of the Senior Usher Board. She was president of the 
Floral Club and a member of the Baurraud Park Neighborhood Club.

Other survivors include a son, Nelson Jones of Norfolk; a brother, Dossie 
Watkins of Goldburg, Md.; and three aunts and an uncle.

A funeral will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in New St. Mark Baptist Church by the 
Rev. C.W. Tyson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 
at Hale Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. The body will be taken to the church 
Tuesday at 10 a.m.
