NORFOLK - James Franklin Jr. of 1628 Melon St., an employe of Kempsville Lumber 
Co. for two years, died Sunday in his home.

A native of Washington, N.C., he was a son of James Franklin Sr. and Mrs. Ommie 
Franklin Taylor. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Other survivors include two sons, Stevens Franklin and Kenny R. Franklin of 
Norfolk.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home.
