Robert Lee David Frasier, 11-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert S. Frasier, 
was drowned at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The baby fell into a butter-tub 
containing about five inches of water in the kitchen of the home, 814 Cooke 
avenue, and was found lying head foremost in the tub by his mother, who had gone 
in search of him when she missed him while she was upstairs about her household 
duties.
When pulled out of the water, the child was still breathing faintly and Mrs. 
Frasier tried to resuscitate him while a neighbor telephoned to Dr. W B. 
Meredith, 128 North Park avenue. He arrived within a few minutes, but the child 
had died in the meantime.
Mrs. Frasier said last night that she had gone to the second floor of her home 
for a few minutes to do some house cleaning and left the baby on the first 
floor.
When she did not hear anything from the child after five minutes lapsed she sent 
her three-year-old daughter, Charlotte, in search of him. When Charlotte failed 
to locate the baby, the mother hurried to the first floor. Her attention was 
attracted to the tub in the kitchen when she heard the water gurgling and found 
the baby.
Her screams attracted several neighbors, and all worked on the child until Dr. 
Meredith arrived. Dr. Kight, city coroner, viewed the body and gave a 
certificate of accidental death.
The funeral will be held at the above residence at 4 o'clock this afternoon. 
Services will be conducted by Rev. W. H. Denison of the Christian Memorial 
Temple. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.
