Tuzi was born and raised in Turkey and grew up in a home centered on faith, love and deep family connections. She came to the United States as an exchange student for her senior year of high school, returning to Turkey to attend Robert College and earn her Bachelor’s degree. It was while working in Turkey that she met the love of her life, Salvatore Frastaci, marrying him at the Istanbul Hilton in April 1968. Together they raised three beautiful daughters - Rose (Mike), Amber (Chris), and Mona along with six grandchildren - Dana (Joe), Sean, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Allison, and Morgan. Her unconditional love and joy for helping others extended to countless aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, neighbors and “strangers,” who quickly turned to friends. Tuzi truly lived a life of joy, fun, humor, good nature, creativity and a deep love of her family. No one was a stranger - if you had the blessing to meet Tuzi, you never forgot her! To know Tuzi was simply to love Tuzi. She lives on in each of our hearts forever and for that we are grateful! Hallelujah!
