The wife of Noah Freeman and the daughter of David and Mrs. Sylvia Porter, Mrs. Freeman was a native of Norfolk. She was a member of the House of Prayer for All People, where she sang in the choir. Surviving her are four sons, Lonnie, Walter Ray, Ollie and James Freeman. Funeral services were held Monday night, May 3, at the House of Prayer, with Elder J. J. Williams officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery Tuesday morning, with Pretlow’s Funeral Home in charge.
