Norfolk - Mrs. Annie Freeman of 2510 Jamaica avenue, died recently in a local 
hospital.  A native of Franklin, she was the widow of Grover Freeman Sr.  and 
the daughter of the late Pete and Mrs. Amy Darden.

She is survived by six sons, Clarence Smith of Philadelphia, Alvin Delk, Melvin 
Freeman, Grover Freeman Jr., Reuben Freeman, and James Freeman of Norfolk;  
three daughters, Mrs. Vertia Harris, Mrs. Juanita Perkins and Miss Brenda 
Freeman;  a step-daughter Kathleen Freeman,  and a brother, Charlie Delk, all of 
Norfolk;  21 grandchildren;  and a great-grandchild.  A funeral service was held 
in Graves Funeral Chapel.   Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
