Norfolk - Roosevelt Freeman of 917 E. Berkley avenue died in his home.

A native of Washington, he was the husband of Mrs. Ida Freeman.

He was a member of Greater Metropolitan AME Church and its Usher Board and 
Rising Sun Masonic Lodge 2 and a retired auto mechanic.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a stepdaughter, Mrs. Leronia C. Jones of 
Norfolk, and a grandchild.

A funeral service was held in Greater Metropolitan AME Church by the Rev. J. A. 
Brown.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  Metropolitan Funeral Home has charge.
