Virginia funeral home notices and obituaries March 17, 2021
Frances Rucker Freeman of Halifax, VA passed away March 12, 2021.  Born in 
Washington, DC, April 6, 1922, she was 98 years of age. She was the daughter of 
the late Wooster Dudley Rucker and the late Frances Montgomery Rucker. She was 
married to the late Arthur Clarico Freeman, III, former Director of Utilities 
for the City of Norfolk. She was of the Episcopal faith. Frances grew up in the 
Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church, graduated from George Washington University, 
where she was a member of the University Club, as well as a member of the 
Daughters of the American Revolution, Potomac Chapter, Washington D.C. Frances 
Rucker Freeman is survived by: her son, Arthur Clarico Freeman, IV of Halifax, 
VA, two grandsons, Andrew Freeman and Robert Glazer, plus a host of nieces, 
nephews and cousins of the clan Montgomery/Andrews of Rocky Mount, VA. A 
memorial service will be held at a later date. For memorials, please consider a
