NORFOLK - Mrs. Florence E. Freeman of 820 West 38th St., died Friday in a 
hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Sylvia E. Melvin of 
Norfolk; a son, Walter Freeman of Williamsburg; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Mae Jones 
of Boston, Mass.; two brothers, Willie Whitehead and Herbert Whitehead, both of 
Norfolk; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Hale Funeral Chapel by the 
Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
