                 Freeman, Head Of Stationery Company, Dies

William Freeman, president for many years of William Freeman and Son, book and 
stationery store, died at the residence 7661 Gleneagles Road, yesterday at 7:15 
a.m.
Mr. Freeman, who was 76 years old, was a native of Fredericksburg, son of the 
late George and Mrs. Louisa Shelton Freeman. He had resided in Norfolk for 55 
years and was a former professional photographer.
He was a member of Epworth Methodist Church and a life member of Norfolk Lodge 
38, B.P.O. Elks. 
Besides his wife, Mrs. Mae White Freeman, he is survived by one son, William T. 
Freeman, of Norfolk; a daughter, Mrs. P. Henry Hall, of Baltimore; five 
grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Joseph H. Faber, of Rochester, N.Y., Mrs. 
Edward Kimberly, of Fredericksburg, Mrs. Stanley Trice, of Norfolk, Mrs. Jeter 
Kaufman, of Portsmouth, Mrs. Lynne K. Shepherd, of Roanoke and Miss Addie B. 
Freeman, of Rochester, and a number of  nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments tomorrow at 2 p.m. The Rev. Thomas B. Carroll, pastor of Epworth 
Methodist Church and the Rev. George P. Gunn, rector of the Church of the Good 
Shepherd, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

William Freeman - Funeral services for Mr. Freeman, for many years president of 
William Freeman & Son, book and stationery store, who died Sunday at 7:15 a.m. 
at the residence, 7661 Gleneagles Road, will be held in the chapel of the H. D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 2 p.m.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. Thomas F. Carroll, D.D., pastor of 
Epworth Methodist Church, and the Rev. George P. Gunn, rector of the Church of 
the Good Shepherd, Meadowbrook. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
