"Duke'' Freeman, 42, died March 25, 1994, in the Hampton Veterans Hospital and his brother, Grover Freeman Jr., 44, died March 28, 1994, in his residence. They resided in the 1700 block of Campostella Road. They were born in Norfolk, sons of the late Annie and Grover Freeman Sr. Grover Jr. was a member of Holy Jerusalem Church of God in Christ, Norfolk. Reuben is survived by three daughters, Yolanda Taylor and Precious Freeman, both of Norfolk, and Georgette Moore of Hampton; three sons, Reuben Clemons and Daniel Freeman, both of Norfolk, and Thaddeus Small of Jacksonville, N.C.; and two grandchildren. Grover Jr. is survived by a son, Antonio Glass of Texas; a devoted sister-in-law; and a loving special niece, Nadene Chambers. They are both survived by six sisters, Vertia Harris, Brenda Arrington, Jaunita Perkins, Annie Newby and Vivian Wakefield, all of Norfolk, and Barbara Early of Hampton; and three brothers, James Freeman, Clarence Freeman and Alvin Delk, all of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends. Their funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Twilight Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by Elder James Tharrington. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon today in the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at noon at 1739 Campostella Road for the processional to the funeral home.
