 Mrs. Flora Freeman, 64, of 1224 Armstrong street, a member of New Calvary
Baptist Church, was given final rites recently at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  
  A native of New Holland, NC, Mrs. Freeman died at a local hospital.  Her
service was conducted by the Rev. W. O. Deloatch.  Burial was in Calvary
Cemetery under direction of Morning Glory Funeral Home.
  The deceased is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Cuffee of Norfolk;  a
son, Fred Saunders, also of Norfolk;  two brothers, J. W. Lucas of New Holland
and Carroll Russell of Elizabethtown NC;  three sisters, Mrs. Lessie Linton of
Belhaven, NC;  Mrs. Rosa B. Swindell and Mrs. Luetta Sadler of New Holland;  15
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
