Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 20, 1955

Miss Addie B. Freeman, 81, daughter of George and Mrs. Louisa Shelton Freeman, 
died yesterday at 10:05 a.m., at a Norfolk hospital.  Miss Freeman was a native 
of Fredericksburg and had been a resident of Norfolk for a number of years, 
residing at 641 Redgate Avenue.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. J.C. Kaufman, of Portsmouth, Mrs. J. Stanley 
Trice, of Norfolk and Mrs. L.K. Shepherd, of Roanoke.
Services will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 3 
p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Services will be conducted by the Rev. 
Sparks W. Melton, pastor-emeritus of Freemason Street Baptist Church.

FREEMAN, ADDIE B. - At a local hospital, Saturday, February 19, 1955, at 10:05 
a.m., ADDIE B FREEMAN, daughter of the late George and Louisa Shelton Freeman, 
in the 82d year of her age.  Services at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
1501 Colonial Avenue, THIS (Monday) AFTERNOON, at 3 o'clock. Friends of the 
family are invited to attend.  Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.

Miss Addie B. Freeman - Funeral services for Miss Freeman, daughter of the late 
George and Mrs. Louisa Shelton Freeman, who died Saturday at a Norfolk hospital, 
will be conducted at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 3 p.m., by the 
Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor emeritus of Freemason Street Baptist Church,
