NORFOLK — Mrs. Marina M. Freeman of 723 Shirley Ave., wife of John W. Freeman and 
daughter of Col. George Alexander and Mrs. Georgiana Martin, died Tuesday at 11:45 
a.m. in a Norfolk hospital.
She was a native of Virginia and a resident of Norfolk a number of years.
She was employed by the National Bank of Commerce for 50 years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a sister, Miss Theresa Fairfax Love Martin 
of Norfolk.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and its Sodality of the Blessed 
Virgin Mary.
The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.
