FREEMAN The remains of the late Mrs. Fannie E. Freeman, sister of George, L.J.L. and Josephus Grimes, who died at her home in Washington, D.C. Sunday morning at 2 o'clock, arrived here yesterday morning for burial in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery. The deceased was 38 years of age and was a former resident of this place. The funeral will take place from the residence of Mr. Grimes, on South Main Street, this afternoon at 3 o'clock and the obsequies will be conducted by Rev. A.J. Ramsey, pastor of the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church. *************************************************************************** The funeral of the late Mrs. Fannie E. Freeman, who died on Sunday at Washington, D.C., and whose remains were brought here Monday for interment, took place yesterday afternoon from the residence of her brother, J.L. Grimes, on South Main Street, and the obsequies were conducted by Rev. A.J. Ramsey assisted by Rev. W.A. Christian. The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery. The pallbearers were as follows: G.B. Randolph, Z.F. Walker, Ed Eutsey, C.B. Gibbs, James McKimmie and S.C. Martin.
