NORFOLK - Lyn Arthur "LA" Frei, 64, passed away July 14, 2007, in a local 
hospital.

Born in Pensacola, Fla., and a lifetime resident of Ocean View, Mr. Frei was a 
retired merchant marine and member of the National Maritime Union of America.

He is survived by a son, Clifton Leo Arthur Frei of Richmond, Va.; and three 
brothers, Robert Frei of New York, Phil and Aaron Frei of Norfolk. He is also 
survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and close friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral 
Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, where the family will receive friends one half hour 
prior to the service. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-
