NORFOLK — Margaret Catherine Lewis Frei, 69, of the 8400 block of Grove Ave., died 
Dec. 7, 1988, in a hospital.
Mrs. Frei, a native of Wilmington, N.C., was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church. She also was a member of Catholic Daughters Organization and the ladies 
auxiliary of Fleet Reserve Association, Branch 60.
Survivors include her husband, Leo Robert Frei; a daughter, Mary Jane Frei Behind 
of Boone, Colo.; four sons, Lyn A. Frei and Aaron L. Frei, both of Norfolk, Air 
Force Capt. Robert W. Frei of England, and Phillip M. Frei of New Jersey; seven 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at noon Saturday in Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Tim Drake. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic 
Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be at 6:30 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown 
Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel.
