Freitas, whose death occurred Thursday at the residence, 715 Shirley avenue, were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 a.m. yesterday with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thomas E. Waters, the pastor, officiating. The Rev. John C. Ryan and the Rev. Charles Comaskey were in the sanctuary. During the services, Mrs. Stark A. Sutton sang "One Sweetly Solemn Thought," with Prof. Harvey Stevens as accompanist. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of red roses, baby’s-breath and ferns. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were W. B. Shafer, George W. Keller, N. B. Powell, Charles Wales, John T. Lambert, Lawrence Kelly, C. H. Frankenberger and H. D. Oliver.
