Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie F. French, 43, were held Saturday, June 15.  
Mrs. French died in a local hospital Sunday, June 9.  A native of Norfolk, 
she was the wife of Curtis A. French.

She was a member of United Order of Tents and Eastern Stars.  She is 
survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Juanita Winslow;  and two 
grandsons, Donner and Connell Winslow.

Services were conducted by the Rev. J. Jasper Freeman at Queen Street 
Baptist Church.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral 
Home in charge.

(Note: obituary originally listd name as Fannie F. Friend but death 
certificate name is Fannie F. French)
