The Norfolk Virginian Pilot August 31, 1937
Mrs. Miriam Woolhiser French- Funeral services were held yesterday in 
Annapolis for Mrs. French, wife of former Alderman William N. French. 
Mrs. French, a former resident of Norfolk, Va., died at her home here on 
Saturday. She had lived her for 36 years. 
Comdr. William N. Thomas, U.S.N., chaplain of the Naval Academy, conducted the 
services from the home.
Mrs. French is survived by her husband; a son, William Henry French, and two 
grandchildren, Miriam and William French.
Funeral services for Mrs. French will be held at the grave in Cedar Grove 
Cemetery, Norfolk this afternoon at 2:30 o’clock.
